What is the cost to become a Green Irene Eco-Consultant? 

The training and business set-up fee is INR 5000 and you have 30 days in which to buy your demo kit (the demo kit is shipped promptly after payment).The set-up and training fee includes the online training, customized marketing materials in digital form, access to The Ask "CORE"database, access to the BackOffice, your own personal  Costs and Income e-commerce website yourname.terapad.com.email forwarding  Then, within 30 days, you buy the demo kit for INR 5000 that includes a representative group of the "CORE" recommended products (not sample sizes, but real products)  During your training you can start selling through your new website and begin earning money to pay for the demo kit! 

Are there extra or hidden costs?

 Other than the initial investment, you pay only INR 300 a month (after 60 days) as a membership fee to help defray ongoing costs of: training, research, marketing, website and email forwarding and communication. 

Do I need to hold inventory of "CORE" products? 

No, we hold the inventory and ship the products directly to the buyer. The Eco-Consultant will need a demo kit to be able to effectively sell some of the products, but the Eco-Consultant is not required to buy and hold any inventory.

Do I have to pay extra for marketing materials?

During the training and set-up period, our staff customizes the "CORE"Service Sheets and "CORE"Guides with your name, community and contact information and emails them to you in PDF format so you can print them out yourself and are never required to buy additional marketing brochures from us. In the demo kit, we ship a starter package of service sheets, "CORE" Guides, postcards and Green Irene folders. When you need more you can print the ones you received by email or you can choose to purchase them from"CORE" (in particular the postcards and folders which are from a professional printer). You can order business cards and other items like car decals and name badges from a third party printer who has templates set up for us or you can have them printed in your community. There is no requirement that you buy any of these items from our supplier, but if you choose to have them printed locally, you just follow the templates we have pre-approved. 

Do I receive a salary and benefits?

No. Eco-Consultants are independent business people and not employees of "CORE" You are trained by Green Irene and use our consulting materials and products.


How will I get paid?

"CORE" handles all billing fees to the clients. You receive a monthly check based on
collections from your clients for consulting and product sales. 

How much can I expect to earn?

You will receive 80% commission on consulting services, such as the Green Home Makeover and the Green Office Makeover. And you will receive 20% on your product sales to customers (with a few exceptions). Since we’ve designed "CORE"to be completely flexible without any sales quotas or minimums, each person’s earnings vary greatly: some are satisfied to do one appointment every couple of weeks, some eco-consultants have full time jobs and can only work on their "CORE"business at night or weekends, and others strive to be busy every day. We do not make earnings claims. We offer many opportunities to generate income, such as the Green Home and Office Makeovers, Go Green Workshops, fundraising, website and one-on-one sales, and each eco-consultant finds the right balance for themselves.  

How do I get customers?

We advertise and market "CORE" nationally and provide you with leads, but we need you to market yourself locally and network in your community. This is a grassroots, community-based effort, and the best marketing is word-of-mouth recommendations.


Can my company enroll as an eco-consultant?

We are getting more inquiries recently from companies who want to add our services and products to their lineup of existing services and products to widen the range of eco-friendly services they can provide clients. The initial cost for a company is  INR 10,000  that includes one master account with one log-in for training and for Ask "CORE" database access, one ecommerce website for the company, one set of marketing materials and email forwarding. Assuming that additional employees would all come under the corporate account, for each additional salesperson/consultant, we would charge a INR 1000 training only fee for 90 day access to the training. This training only fee does not include separate marketing materials, email forwardings or individual websites (although they can be provided as additional add-ons). You may want to buy additional demo kits, but it isn’t be required or you can buy specific products to use as demo products which would be at the eco-consultant discount of 20% off retail.

Is "CORE"a Franchise? 

No, and as a result there are no Franchise Fees.
